Based upon a small photo of my daughter, Rebekah, I was told by the adult Rebekah that when she very young, she used to fear the sky would fall through her bedroom skylight.
With that information in mind, I imagine a tilting skylight, images from Christ's crucifixion fall into its space and Nicodemas points his finger toward the infant girl. A pain filled Madonna expresses fear for the safety of her child. The cabbage patch kid is a bit diabolical as are the other Goyaish figures in the wall paper.
