The image size is 8.25 by 5.25 inches on 11.5 x 9.25 inch paper.

My painting "Little Tyger Burning Bright" was inspired by Ohio based poet, Maj Ragain's poem, Little Tyger Burning Bright/To a New Grandson/Nov. 3, 1995. Ragain's title was inspired by William Blake's poem, Tyger, Tyger, 1794.

There is rich history to be studied here. Here are a few phrases of Ragain's poem:

"Welcome, Liam Michael Ragain,
little bloodied Silverado thanksgiver.
May you wrestle your angel and lose.
May you find the daring not to be first.
May you find monkey business
to do all your life."
